Notes

With reference to the above issue, UniCredit Luxembourg Finance S.A., in accordance with the provisions in the Final Terms and Pricing Supplement dated October 17, 2006 and the Description of the Notes set forth in the offering memorandum dated October 12, 2006, having obtained the prior approval of the Bank of Italy, intends to exercise its option to early redeem in whole the Notes on January 13, 2012. The early redemption of the issue will be at par and the interests shall cease to accrue on such date.
